Terms and Conditions for CalendarFlow

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CalendarFlow website and services located at https://calendarflow.dev (“CalendarFlow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using CalendarFlow, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description
CalendarFlow provides a live voice agent that connects to and edits your Google Calendar in real time (“Service”). You may need to sign in with your Google account and grant access to your calendar data.
CalendarFlow also offers an iOS app distributed via TestFlight for early beta testers. The TestFlight beta is free to try and currently includes a 7-day trial period; the iOS app is not yet publicly deployed.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Accounts
You agree to (a) provide accurate information, (b) keep credentials secure, and (c) notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Access and Fees
- The Service is currently free. New users get up to 7 days of platform-provided OpenAI usage; after that, you must supply your own OpenAI API key (“BYOK”) to continue. You are responsible for any OpenAI charges tied to your key.
- We may introduce paid plans or additional paid features in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and provide applicable terms before you are charged.

5. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
- You may add your own OpenAI API key. We encrypt stored keys and only decrypt when needed to fulfill your requests.
- You are responsible for securing your key and all charges incurred through it.
- You may delete your key in Settings; if removed and no platform usage remains, you will need to add a valid key to keep using the Service.

6. Data Ownership and Google Calendar
You retain ownership of your Google Calendar data. You grant us permission to access, create, modify, and delete events as needed to provide the Service. You must comply with Google policies.

7. Privacy
Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy: https://calendarflow.dev/privacy-policy. By using the Service, you consent to that policy.

8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for operation and analytics. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g., Google, OpenAI). Their terms may apply. We are not responsible for third-party actions or policies.

10. Acceptable Use
Do not (a) use the Service unlawfully, (b) disrupt or interfere with the Service, (c) attempt unauthorized access, (d) reverse engineer where prohibited, or (e) violate others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

11. Payments (Future Use)
We do not currently charge fees. If we add paid offerings, we will present pricing, billing cycles, renewal terms, and refund policies at that time and obtain your agreement before charging you.

12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for verifying calendar changes and maintaining backups.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalendarFlow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalendarFlow and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that should survive termination will do so.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
